Missing cows?

Have happy cows left California? According to a Nevada agency, California's politics have driven both the happy cows and the bear from our flag from the state.

Of course, I am conflicted about which side to take though I am secretly giddy that Nevada did this.

Hah Hah! That's funny.

I'm sure Keith will still say that everything NOT San Francisco is just totally wicked awesome though...

Eh? I just want to know how the cattle got over the mountains, and what they're eating (and drinking) in that vast desert. I know Nevada's rangeland can support cattle, but with most of the land owned by the feds and so poor at any rate that you need thousands of acres for even a few units, I have a hard time understanding why you'd want to ranch there.

As for bears, well, there are very few places in Nevada where bears can survive, so I doubt they've gone there. More likely they've been killed off or forced deep into the mountains so they're rarely seen near cities. See suburbia; see suburbia expand; expand, suburbia, expand! See bears; see bears die; die, bears, die!

I've never used the phrase "wicked awesome." Not even once. Sorry. And yes, California politics is one lame scene. So much needs to change that even a summary would consume too much space for a comment.
